Equipment warranties cover malfunctions or failures related to a faulty part. In other words, if your system quits because Trane (mfg) put in a faulty part during assembly – and that part is still under warranty – Trane will provide the part for you free of charge, however, many manufacturers and vendors charge a warranty processing fee and require the contractor to pay full price for the part until the warranty has been processed. Some vendors only issue a credit for the cost of the part, so the contractor has to buy something from them to actually recoup their money.

Labor warranties are provided by the House Call Company and they vary based upon your selection at time of purchase. The labor warranty is only in effect for the time specified. House Call Company is happy to replace your warranty part and process the warranty on your behalf.
